Early printing, very good + red cloth hardcover with bit of a musty smell at least for now shows mild foxing at page edges and bit of toning at endpapers, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows bit of soil, light edgewear and foxing mostly at jacket reverse. 344 pages with black & whites. Still a pleasing copy in jacket of this historic read where-in the American ambassador to Poland provides "..an exact and damning indictment of Russian imperialism and of our own grievous errors...."
