Facsimile reprint, very good cloth hardcover with bit of a musty smell at least for now shows foxing at page edges, bit of shelf wear to covers, light soil at front endpaper and some other light trace wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows a small chips at top corner of rear panel, closed chip at spine edge of front panel, and with some other light rubbing and edgewear. 460 pages with illustrated plates and index to follow. Still a pleasing copy of this notable reference to U.S. medals that was originally published in 1878.
