First edition, very good hardcover with illustrated boards shows heavy browning where something was laid in at front endpapers, faint tape shadow at front endpaper, bit of rubbing at cover edges, wrinkle and tiny tear at spine head and some other light trace wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows some soil, edgewear that includes closed tears, small open chips and couple of scotch tape mends, sticker remnant at rubbing away of some text at bottom of rear panel and some other light trace wear. Over 700 pages with index and photos and drawings by Paul Child. Still a solid first edition copy in dust jacket of this work from the legendary Julia.
