Very good, oversized (9 by 11 approx.) black cloth hardcover (no dust jacket if issued) with gilt letter shows some mild rubbing and soil to covers, light soiling at page edges and some other light trace wear, else tight and clean. Inscribed by the author on the front endpaper with limitation no. 542/1000 written above inscription. 304 pages very nicely illustrated in black & white. Remains a solid copy of this extensive work on the Browning .22 by the author of A History of the John M. Browning Semi-Automatic .22 Caliber Rifle and Uncle Mort's Sayin's and Aunt Effie's Doin's.
