Very good +, oversized faux leather hardcover shows a small tear at spine head and some other very ligh trace wear, else tight and clean, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows a wrinkle extending length of rear flap, touch of rubbing and soil, edgewear that includes wrinkling and small closed tears. Well over 2200 total pages with a set of color plates, color maps and black & white illustrations throughout. Still a pleasing copy of this noted dictionary extensively revised by the publisher's editorial staff under the general supervision of Jean L. McKechnie. Very Good in Very Good DJ. Item #31941
