First edition, good + blue cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) with red letter stamped to cover and spine shows soil and faint staining to covers, light crease to spine, rubbing to cover edges with fraying at ends and corners, small closed tears at top of both front and rear inner hinges, name and date at top of front endpaper, wrinkle and tiny tear at fore edge of half title and with some other mild trace wear. 316 pages with illustrations by John Coleman Burroughs and other Burroughs titles to follow.
