Rebecca West 1st Sept. 1971.", very good hardcover shows a 1/2 inch deep clip from corner of front endpaper and half title that follows, otherwise showing just a couple of tiny bumps at edges and some other light trace wear, in very good dust jacket that shows hint of toning along spine, mild rubbing and soil, and edgewear that includes closed tears and tiny open chips with a number of pieces of scotch tape reinforcement applied. 311 pages. Still a solid inscribed copy of this book club offering of the noted novel that "..weaves a curious and absorbing tale of a family in the London of some fifty years ago." Very Good in Very Good DJ.
