Very good + cloth hardcover with red illustration to cover and blue and red to spine shows a name at top of front endpaper, bit of bumping at bottom corners and some other light trace wear, in a very good dust jacket (price at both inner flaps) that shows hint of exposure toning along spine and edegwear that includes wrinkling, short closed tears and tiny open chip at spine tail. 336 pages with foreword by Carl Van Doren. Still a pleasing copy in jacket of this edition of the classic novel from the noted American author that makes up an installment in the Readers Club line of reprints intended to bring attention to work unnecessarily neglected.
