First edition, near fine, oversized (8 by 10 approx.) cloth hardcover shows some light shelfwear including touch of bumping to top corners, else tight and clean, in very good dust jacket that shows mild rubbing, soil, wrinkles/waviness to rear panel, small closed tear at middle of spine and edgewear that includes closed tears and tiny open chips. 208 pages nicely illustrated in black & white and with appendices. Still a pleasing copy of this "..only complete history of the Virginia Manufactory of Arms..." that was establish in 1798 and "..produced muskets, rifles, pistols, swords, and cannon for the state's militia from 1802 thorugh 1821."
