Scarsdale: From Colonial Manor to Modern Community.
Harper & Brothers, 1954. First edition. Hardcover. First edition, very good + hardcover copy shows hint of soil at page edges, bumping with touch of tearing at bottom corner of rear cover, along with some other very mild trace wear, in very good dust jacket that shows exposure toning to title along spine (still reads well), mild rubbing and soil, and edgewear that includes closed tears and tiny open chips with couple pieces of scotch tape reinforcement applied at reverse. 340 pages with black & whites and endpaper maps. Still a pleasing copy of this work that "..describes the Scarsdale way of life and relates the well-organized community of today to its origins in the Indian wilderness on the Bronx River in the eighteenth century." Very Good in Very Good DJ. Item #25220
