Very good + red cloth hardcover (7 1/4 by 10 3/4 inches) (no dust jacket if issued) with small cover illustration in black and gilt of knights on horseback with black and gilt letter and decoration to cover and spine, along with top page edges gilt. Copy shows hint of exposure toning along spine, touch of soil at page egdes and mild shelf wear including a tiny closed tear at spine head, else tight and clean. 464 pages nicely illustrated in black & white by Forestier, Gilbert, Riou and Durand. Still an attractive copy of this hard to find and very pleasing Watch Weel edition of Scott's work. Very Good. Item #23796
