Vox Illustrated edition, near fine gray cloth hardcover (5 by 71/2 inches) with letter and design in dark blue shows just a touch of shelf wear and hint of fade to blue top edge of pages and some other very minor trace wear, in very good dust jacket illustrated with one of the color plates within that is clipped at all four corners of inner flaps and shows exposure darkening and wrinkle extending length along spine, touch of soil, and bit of edge wear that includes tiny closed tears and tiny open chips. 322 pages with 8 full page color plates and some small in text black & white illustrations. This remains an attractive copy of this first volume in the seven volume Vox edition of Austen's work that features the illustrations by the noted French writer and illustrator along with an intro by Emile Legouis and prefatory letter by Vox in French and English translation.
